A resident of Seacliff for over 30 years and married for more than 36 years to Sue, we have three children now adults. My wife feels it is not appropriate to describe our children as belonging to the X or Y generation but of the B generation, well may you ask what the (B gen) is. Those of you who have adult children, I'm sure will have experienced the Boomerang effect, and the words "I'm coming home to save some money", well you know what that means! I have to admit we still enjoy having them around!

As most South Australians, my family and I live such a great lifestyle that very few people in the world would comprehend, and I am not certain we Australian's appreciate how lucky we are until we travel overseas. Other cities may be more glamorous and exciting, and as the song goes, never close down, but if you had lived in London as I have for some 15 years, South Australia is a great place to live!

Before choosing a career in Real Estate I was a director of our family business for over 20 years. Essentially involved in the sales and business management of the organisation before being invited to join a South Australian company as the state sales manager. After a few successful years it was time to move into Real Estate, something I had wanted to do for quite a few years. Some 12 years later I am still here enjoying the people, the challenge and my working environment.

We are in an industry where success is judged on how many properties the agent has to sell and how many he has sold. This is only a measure of the agent’s personal achievements, let's not forget the agent is after all working for the vendor... you their client!
