The beaches of Hawks Nest; Bennetts Beach with its pounding surf and miles of shoreline that offers access to 4WD's; or the famous Jimmy's Beach on spectacular Port Stephens offering stunning views to Nelson Bay, Soldiers Point and Shoal Bay, but safe for the entire family, with the waters lapping gently against the white sand.
With planning of the area determined to preserve its essence, and allow progress, there are numerous controls protecting the coastline here. A 3 storey height maximum shows determination to avoid the impact that high rise development can have on such a location.
