Kangaroo Island (or KI as the locals call it) is Australia's third largest Island located just off the coast of South Australia. The Island covers a huge 4,416 square kilometers at 155 kilometers long and 55 kilometers wide, offering a diverse range of experiences. Getting to KI is simple, with the option of either a ferry service or flight, the choice is yours depending on your needs.
Qantaslink operate a 25 minute flight from Adelaide Airport, currently servicing Kingscote Airport. Hire cars and organised tours are available from the Airport or Penneshaw.
Kangaroo Island Sealink operates a consistent 45 minute passenger/vehicle ferry service from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw with four departures daily and additional services in peak periods. They also offer coach connections to/from Adelaide and on Kangaroo Island.
Kangaroo Island Connect is the new fast and premium passenger-only ferry service operating at least twice a day, between Cape Jervis and Penneshaw.
