Notice to Vacate Information We require your Notice of Intention to Vacate in writing, either by email, fax or in the office. We have attached the standard form that you are required to fill in and return.

In your letter we require:
• Move out date
• Your up-to-date contact details and forwarding address
• Your rented address and reason for vacating


To enable a quick refund of your bond, you will be sent a vacating checklist which will outline the most common areas requiring cleaning and/or repair. Please use this guide together with the ingoing Condition Report to ensure the property is left in the same condition as your tenancy commenced. Please note that we cannot carry out the final inspection of the property until you have removed all belongings, paid all outstanding rent, and have returned the keys and remotes, if applicable (any keys given to friends or relatives should also be handed back).

28 days Notice to Vacate Form
To be used if you are on a month to month tenancy, or wish to vacate at the end of your fixed term tenancy.

Notice of Intention to Break Lease Form
To be used if you wish to vacate prior to the end of your fixed term tenancy.

Notice to Vacate Information It is our obligation to re-let the property to another suitable tenant. In this regard, we would greatly appreciate your co-operation by allowing access for prospective tenants to view the property after reasonable notice has been given to you.

All rubbish has to be removed from the property. If you need hard rubbish removal please contact the council on 1300 787 624. Please note your bond cannot be refunded until all rubbish has been collected.


Please ensure the following are completed by your vacate date:

- Your rent is paid to the vacating date
- Our office has your new forwarding address and phone number
- All keys and remotes are returned to this office including letter box keys
RENT WILL BE CHARGED UNTIL ALL KEYS ARE RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE
- Arrange disconnection of all your utilities
- Re-direct all mail to your new address

Attendance to the following matters, prior to our inspection, will save you considerable time and prevent unnecessary delays in returning your bond.

Subject to the condition of the property at the commencement of your tenancy you should ensure that;
1. The property is left in a clean and tidy condition throughout
2. The carpets must be steam/dry cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner, and all stains removed
3. All cupboards, shelves, drawers and benches to be cleaned
4. Walls and doors to be cleaned of all marks
5. Stove, griller, oven and exhaust fans to be cleaned
6. Windows and sills to be cleaned inside and outside
7. Clean venetian blinds and curtains
8. All rubbish to be removed from the premises
9. The garage to be cleaned out, free of cobwebs and grease marks
10. Bathrooms to be thoroughly cleaned
11. Lawns and edges trimmed and gardens weeded

Notice to Vacate Information A more detailed list of items requiring attention will be forwarded to you, following receipt by us of your Notice to Vacate.

PLEASE NOTE: RENT WILL BE DUE AND PAYABLE
UNTIL ALL KEYS ARE RETURNED
