Worldwide Real Estate
Choosing a real estate agent

In September 1993, Mr Charles Tarbey, the chairman and owner of Combined Real Estate Pty Ltd, was approached by CENTURY 21 International to join the Australian Network.

On Friday July 12th 1994, Charles merged Combined Real Estate with CENTURY 21 Australia with an option to purchase at a later date.

Just over one year later, on Friday September 29th 1995, Charles exercised this option purchasing the balance of the Australian arm, returning CENTURY 21 to 100% Australian ownership.

Since then, CENTURY 21 Australia has become the fastest growing Real Estate Network in the country. On average, one new CENTURY 21 agency opens every week.

There are currently over 400 independently owned and operated offices in the CENTURY 21 System through New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Under Charles Tarbey's leadership, CENTURY 21 Australia has become one of the most recognised names in real estate.

CENTURY 21 has experienced meteoric growth in recent years, and the rate of growth is not diminishing in the 21st century, our century.

The success of new offices is enhanced by CENTURY 21's superior brand name recognition, state-of-the-art technology, preferred alliance partners, referral system and unsurpassed management and sales training.

During the 21st Century, CENTURY 21 Australia plans to expand its network by more than two thirds. This will take the company another step closer to its vision of becoming Australia's leading real estate brand.

CENTURY 21 is, without doubt, the most exciting real estate franchise in Australia today. As we continue to forge ahead, we will become the leading real estate brand both in sales and agent profitability.
