Barry grew up in Tottenham in Central West NSW before attending Hurlstone Agricultural High School and the University of New England where he graduated and entered the education sector.
He has taught in the Tamworth District since 1984 and has been a Teacher, Assistant Principal, Education Consultant, Deputy Principal and Principal at a number of local schools.
He has enjoyed a very satisfying career spanning 37 years working with students, parents, staff and their communities before taking leave and heading towards retirement from education in recent times. He has completed the Real Estate Registration Certificate through the Australian College of Professionals as part of his new career plan.
A long term sporting career has seen Barry be player, coach, administrator and mentor to many in cricket and rugby. He still tries to be ‘Peter Pan’ by playing, and encouraging others to play, Veterans Cricket, whilst continuing to be a tragic Pirates Rugby Club mentor and supporter.
Barry is married to Annie and they have six wonderful children and three astounding grand children who all fill their life with delight and pride.
Barry is excited to work with such a community and family minded business as Century 21 Paterson, where he will always aim to build positive and successful relationships in residential sales.
Recognised for his personable nature, excellent communication and team building skills, diligence, conscientiousness and strong work ethic, he is eager to continue to assist others as he heads into a new phase of his life. With a demonstrated desire to do the best he can, whilst helping others to do likewise, Barry is determined to assist clients to achieve success in their next stage of development around house and home.
