C21 University now online

Century 21 is again raising the bar with their offering to the network as it launches the C21 University, an interactive online learning platform. The platform was created from a need to deliver on-demand learning across Australasia to principals, sales agents, property managers and administrators.

C21 University was brought to life by head of training, Karmen Costigan, who leveraged her Bachelor of Education and twenty years of real estate experience. "There is an overwhelming amount of training available in this industry. The challenge is how that training translates into a change of behaviour and ultimately an increase in performance" said Ms Costigan.

The C21 University offers courses across various skills including leadership, sales, property management, administration, social media, marketing, CRM and mindset. The intent is for every member of the C21 network to have the opportunity to learn a wide variety of to assist them with real estate related competencies and career development. It is also a fantastic retention and recruitment tool for business owners.

One of the biggest drawcards for C21 University is for business owners to obtain reports that shows the courses attempted by their teams and their results.
"I would ask principals if they knew what training their staff had attended and what had they learned, and many couldn't really answer the question. Now they can see exactly what modules their employees have completed in a course and how long it took them to do it" said Ms Costigan.

In conjunction with the online university, the C21 Training team will run weekly webinars on a wide range of topics from utilising Facebook effectively to grow a rent roll. There will also be face to face training sessions where in-depth learning is required which involve role-playing and workshop sessions.
