Century 21 Launches Buyers Advocates – A New Era for Property Representation

Century 21 Australasia continues its reputation as an innovator with the launch of Century 21 Buyers Advocates — a new division dedicated exclusively to representing property buyers.

This new initiative aims at helping to level the playing field between buyers and sellers, offering purchasers the same professional representation vendors have long relied on.

Century 21 Buyers Advocates will be led by industry veteran, Edwin Almeida. Mr Almeida has over 25 years of experience across property sales, property management, and buyer representation. He is also a frequent advocate and commentator in the Australian media.

"The Australian property market is fast, highly competitive and complex. These conditions can make many buyers feel overwhelmed and unsure around property purchases," said Edwin Almeida.

"Our new venture with Century 21 is about giving buyers confidence and clarity. With experienced professionals negotiating on their behalf, buyers can make informed choices with the assurance that their best interests come first."

Cotality has reported that advertised stock levels are currently below average across every capital city. Over the four weeks to September 28th, capital city listings tracked about 18% below the previous five-year average while estimates of sales activity through the September quarter were 7.3% above the previous five-year average.

Chairman and Owner of Century 21 Australasia, Charles Tarbey, said that fierce competition between buyers for stock will be an ever-present theme in the Australian property market for the foreseeable future.

"Until fundamental problems with the Australian market are addressed, buyers in many markets are likely going to be competing against many others for finite supply. The new first homebuyer deposit scheme will add further fuel to demand as many new buyers are created, or can now compete in markets they couldn't traditionally access," said Charles Tarbey.

"I believe that many buyers are desperate for expertise that can help them make well informed, practical and savvy property buying decisions.

"The team at Century 21 Buyers Advocates has a strong track record doing just that. Their experience and core focus on customer satisfaction has already won them many loyal customers and under the global Century 21 brand, I expect this to amplify.

"For too long, many buyers have faced the property market without the same support structure sellers enjoy. We believe it's time for that to change," said Charles Tarbey.
